- What is Woolworths Cricket Blast?
Woolworths Cricket Blast is an action-packed program for Australian kids between the ages of 5 & 10 of all abilities who want to learn the basic skills of cricket in a fun and friendly environment.
Split into two levels – Junior Blasters (age 5-7 years) unites children through fun and exciting game-based activities. Whilst the Master Blasters (age 7-10 years) are ready to be a part of team by playing short games of cricket in a fun and social setting.

- What does a Master Blaster Program Involve?
The Master Blaster program has been formulated to be conducted over 6 to 8 weeks (centre dependent) and run for up to a 90-minute duration. Each Master Blasters session has been designed to involve skills to start off the session, before moving in the modified game of Master Blasters
A typical session structure will look like the following:
- 15 Minutes – Skills Rotation
- 60-75 Minutes – Blast Game
- Blast Game Length – 12 overs per team/innings
- Batting – 4 overs per batting pair
- Bowling – All overs are bowled from the same end
- What is the recommended age for a Master Blaster participant?
The recommended age for Master Blaster participant is between 7 and 10 years old. Should your child be outside this age range, it would be best to speak with your centre coordinator to see if it would be appropriate for your child to participant within the program.
- How much is a Master Blaster Program?
The recommended retail price for Woolworths Cricket Blast is $99 including GST. Some centres may charge a higher fee to cover any additional costs to the program therefore prices may vary.
- How do I register my child?
You can register your child online on your laptop or mobile device by visiting the Club Finder and registering at your most convenient centre.
- Can I register mid-way through the season?
Yes, you can register your child mid-way through a program. However, it is best to contact the program deliverer before completing the registration form to ensure there are enough sessions left to provide value for your child’s cricket development.
- Where is my nearest centre?
Visit the Club Finder and type in your postcode. You will be directed to a list of your local centres, where you'll find all the relevant contact details and start times.
- How do I find my centre contact details?
If you have already registered for a Junior Blaster program, this information will be on your confirmation email.
If you are looking to contact a centre before registering, please use the Club Finder to locate the relevant club and their details.
- Who facilitates a Master Blaster Program?
Each centre has a Master Blasters Coordinator (volunteer) who looks after administration and execution of the program. All parents are encouraged to get involved in Master Blasters and join the Blast Crew. The Blast Crew are all the helpers that allow the session to run smoothly. If you’re interested in being a part of the Blast Crew, there’s no experience is necessary, and it’s is a great way to get involved and engage with your child in a fun and healthy environment. Speak to your Junior Blasters Coordinator about being involved.
- What should my child wear for a Master Blaster program?
The Master Blaster program is active and action-packed. It is recommended that children wear runners/trainers and clothing that they can move around in.
Most clubs will provide a club shirt for participants who register to the Master Blaster program, however, this is not mandatory.
- Why do I enter my child’s shirt size during registration?
If the centre you have registered to is providing a club shirt for their participants, this information is collected so they can ensure the correct size is available for your child.
- What does a Master Blaster Participant Receive?
All Master Blaster participants will receive a Cap in their choice of BBL or Australian Team colours. They will also receive the Cricket Blast Drink Bottle.
- How long will it take for my child’s participant’s pack to be received?
All participants will receive a dispatch notification within 6 days of registration. From receipt of the dispatch email, delivery will usually take 10-15 business days.
- Why don’t Master Blaster participants receive a program shirt?
The Master Blaster program is designed as a bridging program between learning the skills of cricket and competing in Junior Cricket. It is therefore encouraged for centres to provide a Club Shirt to Master Blaster participants to start them on their club journey.

- How do I request a refund?
Following registration and payment for Woolworths Cricket Blast, a refund may be provided in specific circumstances.
Refunds are not provided for change of mind.
