Sometimes teams are required to help out the opposition with additional players to ensure a match can be played. In these circumstances where participants would like to have their statistics recorded, please follow the below instructions for each scenario:
Team A has 14 players and Team B has 10, Team A lends 2 players to Team B and those two players bat, bowl and field for Team B and do nothing for Team A
- Select the players as Unknown Players for Team B in the Live Score App. See here for how to add an Unknown Player to the Live Score App.
- After the match is completed, complete a Transfer of the fill in players to Team B through MyCricket Admin. Instructions on how to complete a Transfer can be found here.
- Team B will then need to manually register the Junior Player to the relevant Association. Please see here for how to manually register participants
- Select these participants as players for the match through the ‘Replace Players’ function, replacing the Unknown Players. Their stats will then be added to their MyCricket ID, however listed underneath the club in which they played for that particular game.
Team A has 14 players and Team B has 10, Team A lends players for fielding purposes only and they still bat for Team A
As players can only be selected for one team in the same match, unfortunately the participant will not be able to have any of their statistics (i.e catches and assisted run outs) counted towards their MyCricket ID stats. They can be added as a participant into the MyCricket Live Score App by using the Unknown Player feature however they can’t be replaced in MyCricket Admin after the match with a participant who has also been selected for the opposition.
