This guide will take you through the process of ending a match in eScoring, allowing the results to sync into PlayHQ and MyCricket App. Once completed you can safely close off the scoring session, ready for the next match.
Please Note: Do not edit game whilst the game is still in progress, as you will no longer be able to continue e-scoring.
This includes after Day 1 of a 2 day game. In this scenario, log back into e-score and use the scorecard view to make any adjustments.
1a. In limited overs cricket, once a game has been completed, a ‘game complete’ window will pop-up. Make sure that all the details are correct and click ‘Submit Game Result’.
1b. In a 2+ day game, you might have to manually commence the end of game process. Click options > End Game. As seen below:
2. Enter the PIN that you created at the start the eScoring session
3. Then end the eScoring session by clicking ‘End Session’ on the top left of the screen
4. An Authenticate window will pop-up. Simply enter your admin login information and click ‘End Session’
5. A final check will pop-up, click ‘End Session’
CA Tip: Make sure the app is connected to the internet before ending a session. If it’s not, it won’t sync the match results and stats.
