Adding Terms & Conditions to Online Registration Forms

It's common for Associations and Clubs to prompt players to agree to it's own Terms & Conditions and/or Policies.  This requirement can be included in the MyCricket Online Registration form through a hyperlink as part of a custom question. Instructions are listed below:

Step 1 – MODE: Teams > MENU: People > Custom Person Fields > Add New Custom Field.  Fill out the fields and text boxes.  The ‘Field Type’ should be ‘CheckBox’ List.

Within the ‘Description’, include wording and this code with the destination website:

<a href="WEBSITE" target="_blank"> TEXT THAT WILL SHOW</a>

The test example below is ‘By agreeing PlayCricket’.

 

 

Step 2 – MODE: Administration > MENU: Online Registration > Registration and Payments

  • Ensure Club Financial details are correct and setup your relevant Registration Products (eg. Senior Player Registration). Then click ‘New Registration Form’ or ‘Edit’ for existing Registration forms and fill out the fields as per usual. The custom person field will appear under ‘Additional Fields’ and add that to ‘Selected Fields (see screenshot). Complet form setup and click ‘Update’.

Step 3 – preview the online registration form via PlayCricket to ensure the additional field is appearing in the ‘Other Information’ section.
