Q. Is there a limit to how many participants I can have in a group chat?
A. The smaller and more targeted your group is, the more engaged each participant will be. Imagine all the notifications you would receive if 30 people were sending messages at the same time?! We recommend a maximum of 30 users per channel, any larger than that becomes more of an annoyance for its members when they are receiving constant notifications.
Q. Is it possible to kick other users out of a group chat?
A. No. That's not possible. A user can choose to leave a group they are a member of by tapping 'Leave Group' from the menu within the chat screen. If you wish to report any inappropriate activity, you can email MyCricket Support directly by tapping 'Flag as Inappropriate' from the menu within the chat screen."
Q. How do I leave a 1-1 chat?
A. You can select 'Leave this group' from the chat menu. Once one person leaves a 1-1 chat, the conversation will be removed from your chat list and the conversation will be archived.
Q. Can I mute a 1-1 chat so I don't get any notifications?
A. Yes, you can select 'Mute' from the menu of the conversation you wish to Mute. This will remain muted until you un-mute.
Q. Can I invite more people to a 1-1 chat, to create a group chat?
A. Unfortunately this is not possible, you will need to create a new group.
Sharing Images to a Chat
Q. I keep getting notified that my image is too big to add to the chat, why is that?
